As the contributing BMW mechanic at BMW Insights, I bring over 15 years of experience repairing and maintaining these incredible machines. BMWs have been my passion since I first started working on cars as a teenager.

I always enjoyed taking things apart to see how they worked. I started helping out at a local repair shop in my hometown of Munich, Germany after school. Quickly I realized I had an innate understanding of automotive systems.

I enrolled in BMW’s prestigious apprenticeship program and graduated at the top of my class. This intensive 4-year training gave me expert knowledge of BMW engineering and repair procedures.

Over the past 15 years, I’ve worked at several BMW dealerships across Germany and the US. I’ve repaired and serviced just about every model from vintage classics to the latest releases.

These hands-on experiences have given me intricate knowledge about common issues, technical service bulletins, and pro tips to keep BMWs running in peak condition.

I love contributing my expertise to BMW Insights by creating detailed maintenance tutorials and DIY repair videos. My goal is to empower BMW owners to properly care for their vehicles.

I also explain exactly what owners can expect during scheduled service appointments. My dealership tips help owners understand recommended maintenance and know when upsells aren’t necessary.

When I’m not repairing cars, I enjoy camping, playing guitar, and riding my motorcycle. I love sharing my technical knowledge and experiences with fellow BMW enthusiasts.
