BMW EV share and regional highlights

BMW Group said fully electric vehicles represented around 18% of its global sales in 2025, while electrified vehicles accounted for 26% of total deliveries. That means more than one out of every four BMW Group vehicles sold in 2025 had an electrified drivetrain.

Europe remained especially important to BMW’s EV performance. In 2025, the company sold over 202,000 fully electric vehicles in EU27+2, equal to around 26.3% of its regional sales volume there.

What the BMW EV numbers show

The main trend is consistent expansion. BMW Group increased fully electric deliveries from 215,752 in 2022 to 442,072 in 2025, while electrified deliveries climbed from 433,792 to 642,087 over the same span.

That combination matters because it shows BMW is growing both its pure EV base and its wider electrified portfolio at the same time. The result is a larger electric sales footprint, a higher EV mix, and a stronger position heading into the next phase of BMW’s electric product rollout.
