As a lifelong BMW fanatic, Mike founded BMW Insights to share his wealth of knowledge gained from over 20 years of hands-on experience owning and working on BMWs. Mike has owned over a dozen BMW models including M3s, M5s, Z4s, and more. His current prized possession is a highly customized BMW M3 that he frequently takes to the track. 

Mike provides in-depth technical articles and step-by-step maintenance tutorials to help owners properly repair, upgrade, and care for their BMWs. Sarah Rogers, Lead Reviewer 

Sarah brings over a decade of automotive journalism experience to the BMW Insights team. She has attended auto shows across North America, Europe, and Asia; test driven pre-production models; and interviewed countless BMW designers, engineers, and executives.

As our lead reviewer, Sarah closely analyts and compares both new BMW models coming to market as well as competitors’ offerings. She provides insightful pros and cons analyses from real world test drives. Mark Wilson, Contributing Mechanic

Mark is a BMW master technician who has repaired and serviced BMWs for 15 years. His experience working at BMW dealerships gives him in-depth knowledge of technical service bulletins and common mechanical issues across BMW model lines. 

Mark contributes by creating photo tutorials, videos, and guides for Do-It-Yourself (DIY) maintenance and repair projects. He also explains exactly what drivers can expect during scheduled service appointments at the dealership. Mark’s contributions help BMW owners keep their vehicles in peak operating condition.
